My Inspiration

My work is rooted in the desire to record fleeting moments in nature, in vivid and intricate detail. From the grandeur of rare encounters with hard-to-spot wildlife, to the everyday transient but brilliant effects of sunlight filtering through leaves and petals, I am drawn to celebrate the beauty and radiant colours of the natural world that take our breath away.

Having travelled extensively, observing animals in their natural habitats, I draw upon a wealth of experience and inspiration from nature. My practice reflects on our relationship with the natural world - its fragility, resilience and quiet authority.
